MAJGEN Rawlins is Head of Force Design in VCDF group.    His Branch is responsible to the VCDF for Force Design Division where he identifies emerging gaps, risks, issues and opportunities, develops and tests operating concepts, and proposes force structures and capability options that enable and enhance the integrated joint force.   This effort is guided by the National Defence Strategy and the Integrated Investment Program funds the subsequent capability decisions.   Of great significance is that post the DSR Australia's Defence Strategy, the subsequent governance relating to requirements and capabilities and then the funding of acquisition decisions have all undergone significant review and implementation.  Please join us to hear why this change has occurred, and how this new ADF Capability governance will meet the challenges of building the ADF to meet the emerging Defence challenges.
